Visit The Greene School
The best way to understand The Greene School is to see it for yourself. Our 70-acre campus in the woods of West Greenwich is where students learn every day — through fieldwork, hands-on science, and a community that feels more like a small town than a traditional high school. Numbers and photos only get you so far; walking the trails and sitting in on a class tells the real story.
Here's how to plan your visit.
Fall Open Houses
Our open houses are the easiest way to get a full picture of The Greene School in one visit. You'll tour the campus, meet current students and teachers, sit in on a sample lesson or presentation, and get all your questions about admissions and the lottery answered in person.
Open House Dates COMING SOON!
Both sessions cover the same information, so families only need to attend one — pick whichever date works better for your schedule. Bring your student along; open houses are designed for the whole family.
📍 The Greene School, 94 John Potter Road, West Greenwich, RI 🅿️ Parking is available on-site.
Can't Make Either Date?
We know fall schedules fill up fast. If neither open house date works for your family, reach out to us directly — we're happy to arrange:
- A private campus tour on a school day, so you can see a typical day in action
- A virtual info session for families who aren't able to visit in person (dates TBD)
- A phone call with our admissions team to answer specific questions
What to Expect When You Visit
- Casual dress and comfortable shoes — much of our campus is outdoors, and tours often include a walk through the woods and gardens.
- Real classrooms, real students — you'll see The Greene School through the eyes of our students who help to lead visits.
- Time for questions — about academics, the application and lottery process, transportation, or anything else on your mind.
